Give your client the star treatment with these tips from Hollywood's favorite manicurists.

As always, this year's Oscars was a time for Hollywood's biggest stars to bring their best fashion and beauty looks to the red carpet. A-listers like Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence and Kerry Washington stunned in gorgeous gowns, enviable hair and flawless makeup. From head to toe to finger tip, Hollywood's leading ladies did not disappoint, flaunting beautiful manicures designed to both complement and enhance each individual look. From soft, shimmery pinks, to fun, sparkly designs, to beautifully bare, au natural nails, these tips from top celebrity manicurists will help you recreate each gorgeous, red carpet look for your own client.

Kerry Washington's Velvety Plum
Scandal star and mom-to-be Kerry Washington wanted a shade similar to the lipstick she wore at the London premiere of Django Unchained, so celebrity manicurist and butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador Katie Jane Hughes created a custom blend of butter LONDON nail lacquers for the star's fingertips. Hughes began by painting two coats of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in La Moss as a base, then added a layer of Saucy Jack to add a touch of red. To finish the look, and create a velvety texture, Hughes used butter LONDON's Matte Finish Shine Free Topcoat.

Angelina Jolie's Soft Baby Pink
Actress and philanthropist Angelina Jolie wore a shimmering, Elie Saab Haute Couture gown and soft, barely-there pink nails on the Oscar's red carpet. Created by celebrity manicurist Emi Kudo using essie Nail Polish in Sugar Daddy, the look added the perfect amount of understated polish to Jolie's natural beauty.

Idina Menzel's Pink Flush

Singer Idina Menzel blew everyone away with her performance of "Let It Go" on the Oscar's stage. On the red carpet, she stunned in a gorgeous dark green gown and light-pink, neutral nails. According to celebrity manicurist Lisa Postma, who created the look, the "flush of pale pink [gave Menzel] a clean and chic" style. Postma used a single coat of essie Nail Polish in Blushing Bride.

Lupita Nyong'o's Pretty Pastels
First-time Oscar winner and star of Best Picture Award winner 12 Years a Slave Lupita Nyong'o wore a girly, pastel pink manicure to complement her beautiful, baby blue gown. Celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann used deborah lippmann nail lacquers to create the look, beginning with a layer of Gel Lab Base Coat. Lippmann then applied two coats of the pale pink La Vie En Rose, a new polish from her Spring 2014 Collection, followed by a layer of Gel Lab Top Coat for a shiny, perfect finish.

Jennifer Lawrence's Sheer Pink
Celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann created the perfect sheer pink manicure to complement actress Jennifer Lawrence's vibrant, bright red gown on the Oscars red carpet. The custom manicure began with a coat of deborah lippmann Gel Lab Base Coat, followed by a single layer of Sarah Smile - a sexy, sheer pink. Lippmann then applied one coat of Tiny Dancer, followed by the Gel Lab Top Coat for a polished, beautiful finish.

Ellen Degeneres' Neutral, Naked Nails
Oscars Host Ellen Degeneres opted for completely bare nails for this year's ceremonies. To enhance the comedian's naturally beautiful nails, celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann buffed Degeneres' nails, but not to a shine. Using her Smooth Operator, a 4-way nail buffer, Lippmann shaped the nails with side 1 and 2. She then buffed the entire nail with side 3 for a casual-yet-sophisticated, matte finish.

Maria Menounos' Fun Chevrons
According to celebrity manicurist and butter LONDON Global Ambassador Katie Jane Hughes, Maria Menounos' "white Johanna Johnson gown was elegant and understated, so she wanted her accessories to be bold and make a statement. Nails are a really important accessory when it comes to the red carpet so we decided to play them up with a chic chevron." To get the look, Hughes began by using butter LONDON's Patent Gel Tops & Tails Basecoat. She then created a custom blend for the base shade with butter LONDON Nail Lacquers in Union Jack Black and Pearly Queen. To outline the chevrons on the tip of each nail, Hughes used butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Union Jack Black with a thin striping brush in order to achieve the thin line of lacquer. The interior of the chevron was filled with butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Gobsmacked to create contrast between the base shade and the chevron. Finally, Hughes used butter LONDON Patent Gel Tops & Tails Topcoat for a shiny, beautiful finish.

Camila Alves' Creamy Manicure

Camila Alves graced the Oscars red carpet in a draping, goddess-like, blush gown, perfectly offset by swept-back hair and a gorgeous, creamy manicure. Celebrity manicurist Jolene Brodeur used AZATURE Cream Diamond to create the look that perfectly complemented the star's stunning beauty.
